  11. I have an Aspen 28.8 28IDSSA modem in one of our PC's which seems to work fine 
  12. with faxing, and also with BBS-type connections at up to 19.2 kbps.  When I 
  13. try to use it with PPP, it runs for about 3 minutes and invariably fails.  The 
  14. Winsock screen usually shows comm overruns.  I've talked to Aspen tech support 
  15. about a modem initialization string for PPP; they suggest AT&F, which doesn't 
  16. really give me much help.  I'm using a high speed COMM.DRV replacement which 
  17. seems to work fine on other Pentiums and 486's.

  19. Does anyone have one of these internal modems working reliably with PPP?  If 
  20. so, what AT init settings are you using?
